With Spring Training only days away, White Sox prospect Tim Anderson is preparing himself for a new season and possibly an opportunity to make the big league roster.

The Tuscaloosa native was working on his swing with his iPhone set up just outside the batting cage to video his workout when he hit a line drive right at it. The short video was shared to Twitter, and you can see that the phone didn't stand a chance.

The former HIllcrest High School star spent the 2015 season with the Birmingham Barons and enjoyed a breakout season that included a .312 batting average, 12 triples, and 49 stolen bases. MLB.com rates him as the top prospect in Chicago's organization, which means he could get the call up in 2016.
