CBSSports analyst Jerry Palm has released his New Years Six Bowl Predictions, which include the Crimson Tide.

Palm predicts that Georgia will go into the playoff as the No. 1 team, followed by Michigan at No. 2, Alabama at No. 3, and Ohio State at No. 4.

"Alabama is not exactly going away quietly. The Crimson Tide still have the weapons to challenge Georgia for both the SEC  and national titles. Like Georgia, they have a three-player battle for the starting QB role. Among those competing is Jalen Milroe, who started a couple of games in place of an injured Bryce Young last season. The Tide have a more favorable schedule this season with LSU, Tennessee and Texas all at home," wrote Palm.

He has Alabama taking on Michigan in the Rose Bowl and Georgia playing Ohio State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

The other New Years games he predicts are USC vs. Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl, Florida State vs. LSU in the Orange Bowl, Clemson vs. Texas in the Peach Bowl, and Penn State vs. Kansas State in the Cotton Bowl.
