Alabama fell seven spots to No. 10 in this week's AP Poll.

The drop comes one day after the Crimson Tide's 34-24 loss to Texas inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Georgia remains the top-ranked team with 1,540 points and 55 first-place votes, followed by Michigan at No. 2 with 1,458 points and two first-place votes, Florida State at No. 3 with 1,413 points and three first-place votes, Texas at No. 4 with 1,338 points and two first-place votes, and USC caps off the top five with 1,269 points.

Five SEC teams made the rankings this week. Joining the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs is Tennessee at No. 11 with 929 points, LSU at No. 14 with 667 points, and Ole Miss at No. 17 with 505 points.
