In Wednesday night's edition of The Game with Ryan Fowler and Mick Gillispie a number of fans called in to give their thoughts on the 2013 BCS National Championship game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Over the course of the evening a majority of callers expressed their confidence in the Crimson Tide and Brent Beaird from Lindy's Magazine says that confidence may be warranted.

Beaird says that if Notre Dame is to have any success against Alabama, it will start with being able to run against the Crimson Tide's tenacious run defense

Often in bowl games teams will open their playbooks a little more, pulling out all the stops with an assortment of fakes and trick plays. However in this game Beaird expects Notre Dame may implement some wrinkles, but will likely stick to the offense that has taken them this far.

The Game airs weeknights from 6-8pm on Tuscaloosa's Sports Authority 99.1 WDGM.
