Alabama is set to host former Rutgers Scarlet Knights center Clifford Omoruyi for a visit next weekend, per Joe Tipton of On3 Sports.

Omoruyi is also scheduled to take a visit to Georgetown this weekend.

The New Jersey native averaged 10.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for the Scarlet Knights last season.

The biggest draw of Omoruyi's game for the Alabama coaching staff is his shot-blocking ability. The 6-11 center averaged 2.9 blocks per game last season, 1.3 more than Alabama's blocks leader last season, Grant Nelson.

The lack of an elite rim protector, like Charles Bediako, plagued Alabama throughout the season, hampering the Crimson Tide defense against the country's best offenses.

If Omoruyi transfers to the Crimson Tide, he will be the third player to transfer to the program this offseason, joining Houston Mallette and Chris Youngblood. Former Auburn guard, Aden Holloway, is also a potential transfer for the Crimson Tide.

The addition of Omoruyi to the program would be massive for Alabama, as they try to reach the Final Four once again in 2025.
