Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley made his decision to turn pro official just two days after winning the national championship.

The junior shared a heartfelt letter to the fans, the program, and his family on Twitter to announce his intention to enter the NFL Draft.

Ridley led the Crimson Tide in receptions in all three of his season in Tuscaloosa and will leave the program as one of the school's best players ever at his position. He ranks in the top five in just about all of the receiving categories at Alabama and finished just four receptions short of tying Amari Cooper's school record 228 career receptions.

Earlier in the day it was also reported that Alabama's second-leading pass catcher, Bo Scarbrough, plans to leave school a year early for the NFL.
