The Alabama women's basketball team built a lot of momentum down the stretch this season and has carried over into the WNIT.

The Crimson Tide defeated Mercer and Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the first two rounds of the WNIT to advance to the round of 16, which marks the team's deepest postseason run since 2010-11.  The two victories also put Alabama over 20 season wins for the first time since the 1998-99 season.

As the team gets set to host Tulane on Thursday night, head coach Kristy Curry joined Martin Houston on The Blitz to discuss the program's growth over her four seasons in Tuscaloosa and the success they've had this season.
