USA TODAY sports analyst and handicapper Danny Sheridan joined Ryan Fowler on "The Game" to give his take on the new College Football Playoff poll, of which has Alabama as the #2 team in the country. However, he still thinks that the third-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes are the best team in the nation, although they haven't played like it so far.

The Buckeyes are 10-0 on the season, but have slightly fallen from grace throughout the year. They haven't played up to their expectations as a whole, but are still winning games, and that's how they remain the best team, according to Sheridan.

"I think the best team on paper, they haven't played like it, is definitely Ohio State."

While they have played sub-par so far, the Buckeyes seem to have found their groove, after benching their original starting quarterback Cardale Jones for last year's starter J.T. Barrett.

"As of today, I would not want to play Ohio State."
