While Landon Dickerson didn't start his career with Alabama, he transferred to join the Crimson Tide in 2019 and quickly became a fan favorite, especially during the Tide's undefeated 2020 season. Dickerson tore his ACL in the 2020 SEC Championship against the Florida Gators but was still selected in the second round by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now, Dickerson will remain with Philadephia for at least another four seasons. He's signed a four-year extension with the Eagles., per Ari Meirov on X.

Dickerson has been playing guard for the Eagles since arriving in Philadelphia. With the retirement of long-time Hall of Famer Jason Kelce, Dickerson has the ability to slide to the center of the offensive line and take over the position that was held for many years by Kelce.

Dickerson and the Alabama offensive line won the Joe Moore Award in 2020.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Dickerson's extension is expected to be worth $84 million in base salary with a max value of $87 million. He gets $50 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus, making him the highest-paid guard in NFL history.

He was entering the final season of his rookie contract, but the Eagles aren't letting him go anytime soon.
