Eleven members of the 2016-17 Alabama baseball roster will take part in various collegiate summer leagues across the country. In total, the 11 Crimson Tide players will split up between six different leagues, playing with elite talent from across the college baseball landscape.

Three players will travel up to the Northeast to play in the prestigious Cape Cod League, including Chandler Taylor (Brewster Whitecaps), Davis Vainer (Hyannis Harbor Hawks) and Cobie Vance (Harwich Mariners). Alabama will send a collection of four players to the New England League, with Sonny Potter and John Trousdale playing for the Mystic Schooners, Sam Finnerty earning a spot with the Vermont Mountaineers and Alex Webb joining the Ocean State Waves.

Another three members of the Tide will take their talents up North, including Zack Coker (Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs/Perfect Game), Walker McCleney (Yorkton (Canada) Cardinals/Western Major) and Deacon Medders (Staunton Braves/Valley League). Rounding out the list of 11 is Connor Stutts, who did not participate last season due to NCAA transfer rules but is set to be eligible to compete for UA in 2018. Stutts will return to his team from a summer ago, the Brookhaven Bucks, of the Sunbelt League in Georgia.
