The Alabama defense will be seeking revenge on Saturday when the Auburn Tigers come to town. Not only did Auburn give the Tide its only defeat of 2017, but Gus Malzahn's offense was the only one to gain 400 yards against Nick Saban's defense.

As we enter the 2018 Iron Bowl, the roles have reversed as Auburn's offense has struggled this season and sits 10th in the conference while Alabama's defense is second in the SEC. Safety Deionte Thompson and the rest of the defense will try to keep that trend going this weekend.

Thompson met with the media to start the week and had a chance to talk about the upcoming rivalry game and the focus for the final week of the regular season. Listen to what he had to say in the video at the top of the page.
