98 junior players declared for the 2014 NFL Draft. 36 went undrafted.  The number of early entries has increased every year since the new CBA included a rookie minimum pay.  In the past, only juniors with a first-round grade tended to leave school early, and it was considered a mistake if they slipped to the second round.  Now, we're seeing players with 3-6 round grades making the jump, and the results have not been pretty.

John Parker Wilson, a former Crimson Tide quarterback, went undrafted in 2009, but was able to sign as a free agent with the Atlanta Falcons where he played for a few seasons before being in camps in Jacksonville and Pittsburgh.  He joined Houston and Huber today to discuss several aspects of the Draft, including what can be done to stem the tide of mass early exits.
