After the past several weeks of upsets and BCS shake-ups, Alabama continues doing what they know how to do best... win. With a score of 38-17, the Crimson Tide took down a hungry LSU team that had nothing to lose and just keeps on separating themselves from the rest of the teams in college football.

Though this game tends to have many story lines and subplots to it, one of the most historic moments in Alabama football history took place tonight. A.J. McCarron, by throwing for 179 yards, surpassed John Parker Wilson as the Tide's all-time passing leader. The young man already has as many losses as he does national championship rings, but this may be the icing on the cake to establish himself as the greatest QB in Alabama Crimson Tide history.

Oh yeah, and he was able to get Saban to smile and jump into his arms out of pure joy. That has to account for something.

T.J. Yeldon was the catalyst in the running game that was able to control the clock and put the game in Alabama's favor. Try as the Bayou Bengals might, they couldn't seem to stop Yeldon from picking up as many yards as he wanted to get. The ground and pound attack from the Tide was enough to break LSU's will and eventually led to their ninth win of the season.

Alabama will face off against the Bulldogs of Mississippi State next Saturday
