The No. 15 Alabama Crimson Tide (12-1) have announced that the series opener against Lipscomb Friday has been pushed up from 6 p.m. to 11 a.m., per a press release from the program.

"The teams were originally slated for a 6 p.m. start at The Joe. Games two and three of the series on Saturday and Sunday will remain as scheduled for 6 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively." stated the press release.

The Bisons will be Alabama's final non-conference weekend series. The Crimson Tide will be host the Tennessee Volunteers at Sewell-Thomas next weekend.

Rob Vaughn has his Crimson Tide squad rolling, winning twelve of their first thirteen games; six of which have been run-rule victories.

Ben Hess will still be the Friday starter for the Tide. The junior has been on a tear to start the 2024 campaign, recording a 1.38 ERA and 24 strikeouts through three games.

The time change is to attempt to avoid a rain delay, as precipitation is expected to pass through the area tomorrow evening.

Listen to the Crimson Tide take on the Bisons on Tide 100.9 FM and the app. Miller's Edge and T-Town Sports Daily will not air tomorrow. The Game with Ryan Fowler may also be affected.
