Back at The Joe once again, the Crimson Tide went 4-0 despite heavy rain that forced multiple schedule changes. Following their victory over Troy and sweep of Lipscomb, the Tide jumped to No. 14 in D1Baseball's rankings.

The Crimson Tide were supposed to start their week against the Jacksonville Gamecocks, but inclement weather postponed the game—it has not yet been rescheduled.

Instead, Rob Vaughn's Crimson Tide squad looked ahead to Wednesday's game against the Troy Trojans.

The Crimson Tide battled with the Trojans all night, eventually winning an 8-7 nailbiter. Troy never led, but it stuck close enough to make Alabama fans sweat.

Alabama's Zane Adams earned the start for Alabama, allowing three runs over 4.1 innings.

Alabama reliever Braylon Myers earned the win for the Crimson Tide, striking out two and allowing one hit while allowing a single run over 1.1 innings.

The Tide offense put up another explosive game, walking six times and knocking in four extra-base hits, including a Gage Miller home run, which was the difference in getting Alabama the win.

Alabama's Evan Sleight would make an excellent diving catch to end the game in the top of the ninth.

The Crimson Tide would welcome Lipscomb for their final non-conference weekend series of the year.

The Crimson Tide were initially set to play the Bison on Friday at 2 p.m., but rain pushed it up to 11 a.m. The game was later moved back to 2 p.m. on Saturday, as the first leg of a doubleheader Saturday.

The first game on Saturday was an offensive explosion from both sides, with 33 runs scored. The Crimson Tide came out on top, winning 20-13, behind a seven-RBI performance from Will Hodo and two home runs from Gage Miller.

Ben Hess recorded the win for Alabama. Heater tossed four innings, striking out four while allowing three runs.

The Crimson Tide would put up two ten-run performances in games two and three to earn another sweep to enter SEC play 15-1 with a solid non-conference record.

If everything clicks, the Crimson Tide could be special down the stretch.

Alabama will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss. to take on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles before welcoming the Tennessee Volunteers to Sewell-Thomas to open SEC play.

All four games will be available on the Tide 100.9 app and Tide 100.9 FM.
