On the football field, Banks is a great athlete. Last season, he recorded 42 tackles and six pass breakups while playing defense. On offense, Banks had over 1,200 yards from scrimmage and eight touchdowns. If given the chance, he will return several kickoffs.

The 6-foot-1 safety is ranked as a four-star, according to 247Sports Composite.

Hillcrest held a spring game versus Mountain Brook and Banks did not hesitate to make his presence known. He concluded with a touchdown on a kick return and an interception.

He made his announcement via social media on Sunday afternoon.
