Five-star small forward and Alabama signee Derrion Reid was named to the Jersey Mike'e Boys Naismith High School All-America Honorable Mention Team today.

Reid was also a 2024 McDonald's All-American while also being rated by ESPN as the No. 8 player in the country and No. 5 small forward.

Playing for Team Thad on the Nike EYBL Circuit, Reid averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists, and dropped 20+ points in six different games.

Not only is Reid the fourth highest ranked recruit in program history, behind Collin Sexton Brandon Miller and JD Davidson, but he is also bringing teammate and fellow McDonald's All-American Aiden Sherrell to Tuscaloosa.

These two along with four-star Naas Cunningham make up the Crimson Tide's 2024 class that is currently ranked No.6 in the country according to 247sports.
