I was born in Chicago, IL but moved to rural Aliceville, AL before fate landed me in the City of Champions. I can be heard during the midday, sometimes speaking with eloquence and professionalism. But every now and then, I have to "bring it on home," and you'd swear you were talking to a cousin or good friend. According to an email from the Benjamin Barnes YMCA, former Stillman College Baseball Coach and Randle Jennings and former Boston Red Sox and Willie Mays League of Birmingham Coach Ron Jackson will serve as instructors for a free Youth Baseball Camp for coaches from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 and for players and coaches from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20.
