Alabama gymnastics only has one loss in the season so far, and it was a close one. The ladies latest meet in Athens, GA Friday against the Dawgs ended in a final score of 197.00 VS 197.275. This puts the team at 4-1 on the season and 2-1 on the road. Although the Tide lost, a combined team score of 197.00 is the highest of the season thus far and there is still plenty of time to bounce back.

This weekend will be a big one for the entire Alabama Athletics family. Currently, the girls volleyball team is taking on South Carolina, and at 1pm, the men's tennis team will face Tulane.
The Alabama Crimson Tide is having an impressive 2020-21 year athletically across many of its athletic programs. Alabama is currently nationally ranked in 11 sports and has impressive athletes competing in all the athletic programs. The football team lost a crop of talent after the national championship with the departures to the NFL, that begs the question, who are the top 10 athletes at The Capstone right now.
In 2020, however, Alabama is having success across the board in both men's and women's athletics. Alabama is currently nationally ranked in ELEVEN different sports.
The NCAA alongside president Mark Emmert released a statement saying Fall sports won't have the opportunity to play for championships if more than half of participating schools opt out of the 2020 season as scheduled.
