The University of Alabama added another top prospect on Saturday when wide receiver Cameron Sims committed to the Crimson Tide on ESPNU. The 6'4", 200 pound Sims becomes the second wide receiver in the class of 2014 for Alabama.

"The school that I will be choosing to play at next year is Alabama. Roll Tide," Sims said on ESPNU. "I can be able to play my freshman year and just come out and showcase my talent. I got along with Coach (Nick) Saban and (wide receivers) Coach (Billy) Napier real well. It really just felt like home."

Sims was a first-team All-District player in Monroe, Louisiana, last season after finishing with 39 catches for 948 yards and eight touchdowns. 247Sports rates Sims as a four-star prospect and the 11th best wide receiver in the country. He chose Alabama over offers from all over the country. LSU had not offered the in-state star.

Alabama has had success recruiting receivers out of Louisiana. Senior Kenny Bell is expected to play a big role in this season's offense while freshman Raheem Falkins has been one of the most impressive newcomers of camp.
