Seniors Herbert Jones and John Petty make All-SEC 1st Team. Sophomore Jaden Shackelford makes All-SEC 2nd Team, while Joshua Primo makes the All-Freshman team. Primo is the 5th straight Alabama freshman to make that team.

Herb Jones racked up a majority of the awards after taking home SEC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Jones made the 1st-Team along with fellow senior John Petty. Petty was second on the team in total points behind 2nd-Team sophomore Jaden Shackelford. Shackelford leads Alabama in points per game with 14.5 and most double-digit scoring games with 21.

John Petty received SEC Player of the Week twice in January as well as NCAA National Player of the Week. Petty leads the team in 3-point shots made with 64. Petty is Alabama's best 3-point shooter in the programs history after officially setting the record during the regular season.

Joshua Primo has averaged 8.1 points per game during his freshman campaign. Primo joined the Crimson Tide at 17-years-old after re-classifying and coming to college one year early. NBA scouts have seen promise in the young wing for Alabama. Oats has started Primo in the majority of the games this season, and at times has provided a major spark for the team.

Alabama head coach Nate Oats brought home Coach of the Year honors . The Crimson Tide look to make a deep run this March with its highly awarded stars. The future looks bright for the Tide.
