Tuscaloosa Hostage Situation Has Ended, Suspect in Custody
An armed man entered the Alabama Credit Union on Bryant Drive in Tuscaloosa this morning in what police say was an attempt to rob the bank.
University of Alabama Police responded to the incident just after 8:30 am this morning and the suspect then took credit union employees as hostages. Negotiations began and ended with the suspect in custody just around 11 am.
