For the four or five thousand people that stayed around for the final game of the day at the Final 48 in Birmingham, they got to witness one of the top games of the tournament. In a game pitting Alabama signee Jimmie Taylor and Greensboro against freshman Joshua Langford and Madison Academy.

Behind 24 second-half points for the 6'5" Langford, Madison Academy moved on to the Class 3A finals with a 65-57 win. Taylor, who battled foul trouble much of the night, finished with six points, nine rebounds, and seven blocks.

Taylor, a 6'9" forward, will be a member of The University of Alabama next basketball season, while Langford has five scholarship offers, including Alabama and Auburn, and will likely receive many more. Take a look at both of these players in our photo gallery from Wednesday night.
