When it comes to ACC basketball, The Crimson Tide is no stranger to it.

Throughout the past few years, Alabama basketball has faced several ACC opponents already in the NCAA Tournament or in an invitational tournament in the fall or winter.

This year's ACC/SEC Challenge has tons of opponents waiting to face the Tide this year, including these three teams.

The first potential opponent that Alabama could face this year is Miami.

The Hurricanes are coming off a Final Four season that they clinched for the first time in program history. They would want to prove that they're still an elite basketball program by facing larger opponents, such as the Tide.

The second potential opponent that Alabama could face this year is Virginia.

The Cavaliers are the latest ACC basketball team to win the NCAA tournament. The Tide would want an opponent like this because of how they took down Baylor a year back coming off of their championship season.

The third potential opponent that Alabama could face this year is Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish took down the Tide in the first round of the NCAA tournament last year. With the much-improved team that Nate Oats has been coaching this year, it would make sense that he would want to exact revenge on the Irish.
